100 Days Challenge - Scrap Quilt update

I've been participating in Gnome Angel's 100 days, 100 blocks challenge.  I made this last year in a controlled palette of blue, white, and sneaks of color.  This year I'm going full out with scraps and color.

I have only one rule.  Every piece in the block must be a different color.  I'm attempting to use only scraps for this.  Sometimes when it makes 2 half-square triangles I reuse them, but not always.  It's going to be a riot of color.

Since I started this during the all the quarantines and shutdowns, I'm calling this one my corona virus scrap vomit.  I can't wait to see how it comes together.

Modern Quilt - Blue and Green Waves One

This quilt is made from blue and greens in a wonky zig zag pattern

The colors include bright and cheery blues and greens.  The background is a very light blue.  The backing features a striped green and blue print, and a solid light green, and the binding is a solid blue.

This is such a fun and modern design.

Baby Quilt - The Reproduction Cotton One

I had a stack of various reproduction prints, so I decided to cut them up and set them in a traditional layout.

The colors include off white and various blues, pinks, yellows, greens, and purples.  The backing features a pink flowered print. The binding is solid yellow.

Baby Playmat - The Green One

I loved having a playmat for the floor when my kids were babies.  It was great for tummy time, play time, and even naps when we couldn't make it to the crib.

This one is the perfect size to manage while holding a newborn, and even fits nicely under the floor toys for a added (washable) layer of protection!  The black and white prints encourage an infant to explore during tummy time, while the green prints ensure it will coordinate with a modern nursery and decor.

This quilt is made from green and black & white patchwork squares.  The colors include bright and cheery greens and black & white fabrics.  The backing features a green and blue print.  The binding is black.  While the colors are gender neutral, the prints do have flowers in them.

The top is quilted with a white cotton thread using a intersecting cross hatch design. The traditional double-fold binding is machine stitched to the front and back for durability. This quilt is made to withstand multiple washes.

Baby Quilt - The Dinosaur One

This one was so fun to make!  Kids always seem to love dinosaurs and this fabric was so amazing to work with.

The colors included browns, blues, and greens.  The print is gender neutral in design, which is always a plus. The backing features a brown chevron print and brown and blue solids. The binding is a light brown solid.

The top is quilted with light brown cotton thread using a straight line design, echoing the layout of the blocks. The traditional double-fold binding around the edges is machine stitched to the front and back for durability.
