Baby Shower Gifts

I love making baby quilts and playmats for gifts.  It's so satisfying to finish a quilt and know that it will be used and loved for years to come.  Plus, they are quick to make, and great for trying out ideas.  

Unfortunately, most of my friends are done having babies, so all my baby quilts are just packed up in my closet.  This is lucky for you!

Pollinate Quilt Plans

Since I finished my last hand sewing project, I didn't want to go too long without another one.  It's so great for in front of the TV, or for portable projects.

I chose the Pollinate Quilt by Night Quilter.  This one really appealed to me with all the bees and opportunity for different designs.  Some of the inspiration on Instagram is amazing.  I purchased the pre-cut papers from The DIY Addict.

I made a lot of progress in the last few weeks, and I hope I can continue.  I've already got a few ideas to change the colors from what I show on the color plan, but the basic idea should stay the same.  I can't wait to see it come together!
