I've seen this festival around, but never managed to catch it. Got it this year!
I'm entering my Lou-Lou-Thi Grid quilt.
I made this quilt for two reasons.
1. I LOVE AMH fabric.
2. I wanted a sashed patchwork quilt. But I didn't want to use all those really long sashing strips, that always curve on the sewing machine. So I used short pieces, laid it all out on the floor. (Really wish I had a design wall) Each sashing strip was then 6" or under.
I learned that I'm still not that good at sashing.
I didn't plan too far ahead. I thought I'd use it on the couch. But, it was too big for the couch, too small for the king bed. I don't care, it's on the bed anyway. It looks very cheerful on the bed. I hope youall agree.

Your sashing looks great to me. Such a bright cheerful quilt, thanks for sharing it.
It looks beautiful - much like a wall of Polaroids taken of flowers...
Your quilt is so beautiful. All that sashing would have driven me mad, but you've done a lovely job. The framing effect is wonderful.

Who doesn`t love AMH?? I love the simplicity of the design which really showcases the fabric, which is what it`s all about!
I love the design, how each fabric has it's own square all to itself. Very beautiful!
